This painting of cottage flowers features foxgloves, sedums and scabious.
It is different from most of my paintings as I have used palette knives to apply the paint and moved slightly away from my usual pointillist style. I really enjoyed using this quicker technique as a break from the small paintbrushes so may do some more!
