Commissioning Your Painting
Examples of different styles of commissioned paintings include The Monaco Garden
for HSH Prince Albert of Monaco, Azalea Punchbowl in Valley Gardens, Windsor Great Park
and Moulin de Luhan, a private garden and mill pond in Brittany.
If you would like to discuss your ideas for your own original painting or perhaps as a
unique gift for your loved one, whether it is a favourite garden or landscape,
a special tree or woodland or plants & flowers that you love, please contact me for a
non-committal, informal chat.
If a commission is something you would like to pursue I will visit you in person to
discuss your ideas in more detail and to take photographs of the chosen site. I will send
you an initial sketch to make sure you are happy with the composition and then email
updates of the painting at various stages which I invite you to comment on at any time
with feedback you may have. If you prefer a less hands on approach I am also happy to
work in this way.
A commission is an enjoyable process culminating in an original piece of art that
is personal to you and a moment in time, and something that you will treasure for
many years to come.
